Industrial Hot-runner Spring Heaters (also known as spring heating rings) are crucial heating components in plastic injection molding. Their core function is to provide precise and stable heating for components such as nozzles and channels in the hot runner system.

The Working Principle of Hot-runner Spring Heater/Coil Heater

Its working principle is based on resistance heating. The core structure is usually a metal tube (such as stainless steel) with a built-in heating wire inside, and it is filled with magnesium oxide powder for insulation and heat conduction. This heating tube is processed into a tightly wound spiral spring shape.

After being powered on, the resistance wire heats up, and the heat is conducted away through the magnesium powder and the metal casing. Its unique spring design brings about two key advantages:
